Here at ELEAT, we have a passion for creating a positive impact on the health and well-being of our customers, but not to the detriment of the community and environment we all live in! Whether that be within our supply chain, packaging materials or 1% For The Planet.
As a business, we are making many proactive steps to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our social and environmental sustainability. However, we believe that we should hold ourselves accountable, be transparent and recognise that we can always improve.
We’ve laid out some of the great things we already do at ELEAT and set some of our own targets for the future!
Supply Chain
Our cereal is produced in Europe before being packed and stored in the UK. We acknowledge that there are improvements to be made and we’re looking to reduce the food miles of our cereal soon and bring all production to the UK when possible. However, we’re also focused on ensuring we are making the best product possible, and at the moment that's in Europe.
However, our bulk production process and warehousing are both carbon-neutral, making use of 100% renewable energy sources which has helped us reduce our overall carbon footprint.
Recyclable Packaging
We’re pleased to say that our entire packaging range uses recyclable materials. Our pots are fully recyclable, both their lids and the pot itself, and our pouches are recyclable at supermarkets, alongside your plastic bags!
We want to be entirely transparent about our packing including our pouches pots and boxes. However, we have given instructions for recycling on the outside of each packaging format.
Whilst this is a great step, we are exploring plastic-free options as a business to further reduce our environmental impact.
1% For The Planet
We are extremely proud to be a full 1% For The Planet member. This means we donate at least 1% of all sales revenue to help address some of the most important environmental issues of our time.
By being a member of 1% for the Planet, we commit to giving back to environmental initiatives and organisations, supporting efforts such as conservation, climate action, and sustainability projects. It’s a small opportunity for us to be able to demonstrate our commitment to environmental stewardship and contribute to positive change.

Future aspirations: B-Corp
It is our ambition at ELEAT to become a certified B Corporation.
“B Corps” are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. This is assessed across a company’s entire social and environmental performance from supply chain and input materials to charitable giving and employee benefits.
As we grow ELEAT, we will continue to develop our social and environmental credentials and hopefully, one day, we will be able to announce our status as a B-Corp!
